Join Ash Center Senior Fellow Miles Rapoport for a voter registration drive in Cambridge as part of National Voter Registration Day (NVRD), September 26. Students, Harvard affiliaties, and community members interested in participating should gather in the foyer of the Ash Center, 124 Mt. Auburn Street, second floor, at 1:00pm. Join us for a discussion about China's Potential Transformations after the 19th Party Congress with Xiang Bing, Founding Dean of Cheung Kong Graduate School of Business. Arne Westad, S.T. Lee Professor of U.S.-Asia Relations, HKS, will moderate.
The 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China will be held in Beijing opening on October 18, 2017, during which changes in the makeup of China's top leadership will be closely watched. At the once-every-five years congress, President Xi Jinping will also deliver his vision for the next five years.
Ahead of this congress, Dean Xiang will offer his insights on what lies ahead for China in the context of business, globalization and cross-cultural leadership.
