Nancy MacLean will give a talk on her new book Democracy in Chains: The Deep History of the Radical Right's Stealth Plan for America, which has been longlisted for the National Book Award and focuses on the Virginia School of economic thought and particularly on the Public Choice theory of James M. Buchanan.
