Harvard Kennedy School students and recent graduates are invited to join the Ash Center for a virtual networking session featuring HKS alumni with experience working in the field of digital government. During this session, participants will briefly hear from alumni and then have a majority of the time to introduce themselves and ask questions in a series of breakout sessions with each panelist.

Nicolas Diaz Amigo
Chief Innovation & Data Officer, City of Syracuse, NY.
As the Chief Innovation & Data Officer for the City of Syracuse, NY, Nicolas leads a team of innovators, data-analytics experts, and change makers to improve internal processes and deliver better services to citizens. He is also in charge of building and implementing a long-term strategy for data infrastructure, data governance and data analytics at Syracuse.
Denise Linn Riedl
Chief Innovation Officer, City of South Bend
Mayor Pete Buttigieg named Denise the Chief Innovation Officer for the City of South Bend (IN) at the end of January 2019. Previously, Denise was in charge of Ecosystem Development at Chicago’s City Tech Collaborative. Denise has diverse experiences in telecommunications policy and planning, digital inclusion, and emerging smart city technologies.
Chief Data Analytics Officer, Vanguard
Ryan Swann is an investor, strategist, entrepreneur, and data science expert focused on developing strategic uses of data in order to improve decision-making in a variety of industries. He has built data science, data management, and data governance capabilities in a variety of organizations in the public and private sectors.
Program Manager, Bloomberg Harvard City Leadership Initiative
Sari Ladin-Sienne is the Program Manager at the Bloomberg Harvard City Leadership Initiative. Prior to joining the initiative, Sari was Mayor Garcetti’s Chief Data Officer and executed his vision for a more inclusive, responsive, and data-informed Los Angeles. She led the Mayor’s open data and governance program and advised 38 departments on how to transform data into action.
