Date:

Friday, September 27, 2019, 12:00pm to 1:00pm

Location:

Ash Center Foyer, 124 Mount Auburn St., Floor 2, Suite 200N

Join Bloomberg Harvard City Leadership Initiative’s summer fellows Joanna Bell, Lisa Setrakian, and Nicolas Diaz, for a conversation about their work with cities and city officials seeking to integrate data into their decision-making and operations. Santa Fe, Durham, and Sioux Falls have different levels of data maturity but they all seek to use data to improve outcomes for challenges that range from inclusive economic development to fire prevention. The group will discuss strategies for cities to become more data-oriented, to effectively work across silos, and to lay the groundwork for more sophisticated analysis using artificial intelligence and machine learning.
