Join student leaders from the Community Development Project for a discussion about how Harvard graduate students can engage with local governments and assist in tackling urban challenges. The Community Development Project is a student organization comprised of over 80 Harvard Kennedy School and Graduate School of Design students who work and consult with local government agencies and organizations to find equitable and just solutions to urban challenges. Representatives from three of the Project's yearlong initiatives will present descriptions of their work thus far and key findings.

Sophie Feldman, Co-Chair of The Community Development Project, will moderate a student panel discussion on three specific initiatives:

  • Kim Bernardin and Daniel Velez-Lopez, City of Revere
  • Miranda Morrison, Economic Mobility Lab
  • Safeer Shersad and Maura Barry-Garland, Cambridge Housing Authority

Lunch will be served.
