Join James Palmer, Asia Editor of Foreign Policy and author, most recently, of The Death of Mao: The Tangshan Earthquake and the Birth of the New China, for a discussion of China's historical experience and the challenge of covering Chinese politics today. Julian Gewirtz, Fellow in History and Public Policy and author of Unlikely Partners: Chinese Reformers, Western Economists, and the Making of Global China, will moderate.
