Join the HKS China Society and Ash Center to hear Steven Wang, the founder of Yiqiao, a leading social initiative in China, about his experience founding the initiative, the nuances of leading social initiatives in developing countries like China, and the opportunities to work in social sectors in China. Wang will be available for networking after the event.

Nicholas Butts, MPA '18 and Social Entrepreneurship Fellow, will moderate the discussion.

Steven Wang, a Rhode Scholar and graduate from Oxford University, is the founder and chairperson of Yiqiao, a social initiative and platform that cultivates top graduates and young professionals to serve in the social sector in China. The organization is supported by Gates Foundation and a number of leading Chinese foundations. Its work has been reported by major news outlets including Xinhua and Forbes.
