In celebration of National Hispanic Heritage Month, join us to hear from three Latina leaders in roles in Massachusetts state and city government:
- MA Secretary of Labor & Workforce Development, Rosalin Acosta
- City of Boston Director of Immigrant Advancement, Alejandra St. Guillen
- City of Cambridge Licensing Board Commissioner, Nicole Murati Ferrer
Our esteemed panelistas will share their stories about their own paths to and within state & city government, their insights on the importance of serving and what it takes to succeed in state & city government, and their ideas on how to inspire and involve more Latinas to work in state & city government. There will also be Q&A and networking with las panelistas, and lunch will be provided.
This event is being co-hosted by the Latinx Student Caucus, the Taubman Center for State & Local Government, the Rappaport Institute for Greater Boston, and the Ash Center for Democratic Governance & Innovation. We hope to see you there!
