Organizing for Now and a Lifetime

Date:

Friday, February 22, 2019, 12:00pm to 1:15pm

Location:

Littauer 150, Harvard Kennedy School

Join us for an intergenerational conversation about community organizing with Marshall Ganz, Senior Lecturer in Public Policy at Harvard Kennedy School; Heather Booth, founder of the Midwest Academy and JANE Collective; and Zienab Abdelgany, organizer with the Greater Boston Interfaith Organization. Drawing on decades of their collective experience, the group will discuss and share stories about developing strategy, the relationship between mobilizing and organizing, and working in social change for the long haul. Wylie Chang, organizer of the "When We Organize" project, will moderate.

Lunch will be served.
