The Power of Social Innovation Series returns this spring with practitioner-led webinars on timely topics from education reform to economic development. Each webinar features innovators sharing their experiences and insights with fellow practitioners, students and scholars from across the country.

This event is sponsored by the Government Innovators Network and the Malcolm Wiener Center for Social Policy, and features government leaders and experts from innovative service organizations.

The panel will feature social entrepreneurs and city leaders who will discuss their innovative community and economic development efforts. They will explore the potential impact of, and lay out some key strategies for, supporting local social enterprises as a practical and effective means of encouraging business development, job growth and wealth creation.

Ample time will be allocated for audience Q&A.

The discussion will be moderated by Anthony Williams, William H. Bloomberg Lecturer in Public Management at the Harvard Kennedy School and former two-term mayor of the District of Columbia. The panel includes:
