Join Kevin Chan, Facebook Director of Public Policy, Canada; AY 2020-2021 Ash Center Technology and Democracy Fellow, for a dynamic, hands-on workshop engaging with real-world issues around social media platforms, misinformation, and election integrity. Participants will tackle critical questions head-on by working in groups representing key stakeholders, including election officials, political parties, civil society, and online platforms, in a simulation framed around the 2019 federal election in Canada. The session will end with a 15-minute networking session with the workshop lead.
