Combatting the Dominance of Money in American Politics

Nick NyhartPam WilmotThis third session of the study group will feature Nick Nyhart, President & CEO, Every Voice Center; and Pam Wilmot, Executive Director, Common Cause Massachusetts. Every Voice and Common Cause have both been at the center of combatting the outsized and pernicious role of big and interested money in American politics.  This will be a discussion of the problem at the national and state levels, but will focus mainly on energetic and often-successful efforts to limit the influence of money and increase the influence of citizens in the process.  Nyhart and Wilmot have led their respective organizations for 20 years.
