What’s Next for US-Taiwan Trade Relations?

Date:

Wednesday, September 28, 2022, 10:30am to 12:00pm

Location:

L150, Littauer Building, Harvard Kennedy School

Join the Rajawali Foundation Institute for Asia for a discussion on U.S.-Taiwan trade relations. Following the collapse of the TPP trade agreement, questions remain in Taipei about the future of Taiwan’s role in trade agreements and regional politics. Is the Biden administration working effectively to incorporate Taiwan into a broader post-TPP framework? Panelists include Simon Nip of AU Optronics, Ryan Hass from Brookings, and Phil Hsu of the National Taiwan University’s Department of Political Science.
