Allan Chan is the Associate Vice-President and Professor of Marketing in the School of Business at Hong Kong Baptist University. He has served as the Associate Dean since 1999 and Interim Dean of Business from 2013-2015. He received his Ph.D. from University of Strathclyde, UK. His research interests include brand naming, business ethics, and business-related case studies. He has a growing interest in doing fieldwork research in relation to sustainable urbanization in China. Professor Chan has published several books about China marketing and Chinese business cases in several academic journals.
