Ammar Ahmed Waraich

Dr Ammar Waraich is an OPT fellow at the Ash Center. He is a recent MPP graduate from Harvard's Kennedy School of Government and was a physician in the British NHS before that. He is a member of the Royal College of Physicians in London, a Fellow of the UK Higher Education Academy, and worked as a clinical lecturer prior to his time at the Kennedy School.
His work is looking at minority democratic participation in the UK as well as the challenges of democracy, economic inequality, and diversity more broadly.
