Beatrice Martini (@beatricemartini) is Digital Governance Fellow at the Ash Center. She has a profound passion for the Internet and its workings, professional experience in the field of human rights and technology, and insight into contributing to advocacy efforts at international levels. Her current research focuses on the implications of Internet infrastructure design on human rights.
Over the past 10 years Beatrice has worked on several projects leveraging open source technology in support of justice and rights efforts. She led the Human Rights Technology program at Aspiration, worked at Open Knowledge International, and currently serves in a formal advisory role with the Center for Tech Cultivation and OpenArchive.
