Public finance, tax reform, public expending policy
Bingde Duan is a Research Fellow at the Development Research Center of the State Council (DRC), which is a comprehensive policy research and consulting institution directly under the central government of China. He obtained his PH.D. from Graduate School of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences(GSCASS) in 2007. He was trained as an economist in public finance, he has participated in many research projects on tax reform and public expending policies. From December 2015 to May 2018, he served on a poverty alleviation mission and worked as a deputy county mayor of Daming County, Hebei Province.
