Daniel Marks is a Black queer digital organizer that serves as a Digital Manager at Color Of Change. There, he leads membership engagement, innovation, and growth on the organization’s Facebook messenger bot platform. He also manages Color Of Change’s digital ads program that empowers people to take action on urgent campaigns demanding justice for Black people. At Color Of Change PAC, he created and managed geo-targeted canvassing, SMS, and phone scripts that were deployed to field organizers in Nevada, North Carolina, Michigan, Georgia, and Florida for the 2018 midterm elections.
Prior to joining Color Of Change, Daniel worked at the ACLU’s Racial Justice Program. There, he conducted research on the school-to-prison pipeline and debtors’ prisons court records to support attorneys’ litigation and discovery.
Daniel graduated from American University as a Frederick Douglass Distinguished Scholar and Public Policy International Affairs (PPIA) Fellow.
