Jiangyun Hu is a Research Fellow at the Development Research Center of the State Council of China (DRC), as the division chief of the foreign economic relations department, in charge of researching foreign economic policies for China central government.
He acquired his Ph. D. in economics from Peking University in 1998. His research fields focus on foreign economic policies of China, including foreign direct investment (FDI), special economic zones, rules of WTO, IMF, OECD, and International economic cooperation.
Now he is acting as an expert of some agencies, such as the Investment Promotion Agency of Ministry of Commerce of China, Guideline for China’s Foreign Direct Investment Outward and Economic Cooperation of Ministry of Commerce, Profession Committee of the China Federation of Logistics & Purchasing, etc.
