Jing Zeng is a Post-Masters Fellow at the Ash Center for Democratic Governance and Innovation at the Harvard Kennedy School. Dr. Zeng received her Ph.D. in Television and Broadcasting Journalism at the Communication University of China in 2008 and her Master of Public Administration at the Kennedy School in May 2019. She was a key founding member and the provost of the China Global Philanthropy Institute (CGPI) from 2015-2018, where she led the cooperation with government, private-sectors and philanthropic foundations to motivate the resources for capacity building of the Chinese non-profit sector. At the Ash Center, Dr. Zeng plans to integrate resources from different research projects to focus on the frontier philanthropic practices initiated in Chinse digital platform as well as the best practices and lessons from non-profit organization management in China’s unique social and cultural context.
