Karry Jiao

Karry Jiao is a policy researcher focused on US-China relations and China financial market development. She is currently working on research related to geo-economic strategies with faculties from the Ash Center. Before joining the Ash Center 2022 fellowship class, she worked at China Development Research Foundation (CDRF) as the vice Program Director, participated in US-China relations related projects and helped manage the International Development and Aid project, while producing relevant research reports for the central government leadership. She also gained experience in the private sector through working at China International Capital Corporation (CICC) as a Research Associate, working on projects related to technology innovation, financial system innovation and shared prosperity. Karry worked at American Enterprise Institute (AEI) on the topics of the US housing market before continuing her research career in Beijing.  

Karry Jiao graduated from Harvard Kennedy School in 2017 with a MPP degree, and she graduated from UC Berkeley in 2015 with a BS in Economics (Honors) and BS in Civil & Environmental Engineering.
