May Chengnan Wu
May has six years professional experience as an educator and a non-profit manager prior to her journey at HKS. She first taught in China’s underdeveloped area Yunnan, then went on to Ecole d’Humanité, a progressive international school in Switzerland. In Beijing, she taught all subjects as a Head Teacher in an innovative bilingual primary school before joining BN Vocational School. Over time in this China’s first charitable non-profit focusing on transforming migrant youths’ life, she served in multiple roles including the English Program Director, Development & Fundraising Manager, and Dean of Students. She is also part of the Young Board of Directors at the school. Her summers have been devoted to a summer camp that fosters international understanding and leadership at a young age. May’s Bachelor Degree of Management is from Nanjing University and she studied in Finland as an exchange student in college.
