China Public Policy Postdoctoral Fellow AY 2018-2019
Ning Leng was a China Public Policy Postdoctoral Fellow at the Ash Center during the 2018-2019 academic year. Dr. Leng received her Ph.D. in political science from University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2018, and she will join the faculty of the McCourt School of Public Policy at Georgetown University in Fall 2019. Her research interests include authoritarian politics, public management, and state-business relations. Dr. Leng’s current book project examines how nondemocratic institutions create unintended consequences in state-business relations and development outcomes in China. Her research is supported by the National Science Foundation, the Chiang Ching-Kuo Foundation, the Institute for Humane Studies, and various other research grants.
