Rosie (Lei) Zhang is currently a Mason Fellow of MC/MPA 15 program. Prior to Harvard University, Rosie served in several executive positions in Asia operations and change management for corporate and foundation. Rosie is a deeply committed CSR leader with strong field knowledge in China and Asia. In the past 11 years, she conducted social and labor assessments/ to 500+ manufacturers in 16 Asian countries, interviewed 10,000+ workers and advised 100+ public and private sector clients in corporate governance, productivity development, EHS, labor relations, and crisis management. She was appointed by the global governance Board to become the first female Asian COO of the International Council of Toy Industries (ICTI) CARE Foundation, based in Hong Kong. Her hands-on experience in social compliance monitoring, consulting work for multinational brands, licensees, importers, and vendors, plus her legal expertise in international trade and investment, corporate, and employment made her a seasoned leader in both non-profit and for-profit sectors, as well as scalable start-up social enterprises. She is passionate about innovative methods for improving corporate CSR strategy and performance. She is also interested in raising awareness and accountability to Chinese enterprises in social performance. She earned a degree in Public International Law and International Business Law from East China University of Political Science and Law.
