Rui Peng is a Ph.D. Candidate from the School of Public Policy & Management at Tsinghua University. She is a full-time researcher of the Center for Crisis Management Research and Social Risk Assessment in China at Tsinghua University.
Peng’s research interests include crisis management, risk culture, social risk governance, and public policy. Her research focuses on understanding and examining how governmental actions and policy tools affect people’s risk perception and behavior, as well as the cultural factors behind them. She is recently engaged in COVID-related public health emergency management.
