Program Involvement
Sarah Hubbard is a Senior Fellow at the Ash Center for Democratic Governance and Innovation and was previously a Technology & Public Purpose Fellow at the Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs. Her current work focuses on artificial intelligence, policy, and democracy. She leads the GETTING-Plurality Research Network within the Allen Lab for Democracy Renovation.
Sarah is a product leader and strategist who has led various cross-functional teams building products in artificial intelligence and machine learning, mixed reality, and intelligent devices at both Apple and Microsoft. She has a passion for human-centered design, building communities, and guiding the ethical and equitable use of technology in society. Previously, Sarah has also worked at The White House Office of Science and Technology Policy, University of Washington Tech Policy Lab, and NASA. She has spoken at or been published in outlets such as Harvard Kennedy School, ACM CHI, FTCPrivacyCon, Grace Hopper Celebration, COMPUTEX, ETHDenver, and others.
