Tristan Caballero-Montes

Tristan Caballero-Montes holds a master degree in Business Engineering (Université de Mons, Belgium) and graduated from the Advanced Master in Microfinance (Université Libre de Bruxelles - Université de Mons, Belgium). He carried out a PhD at the Warocqué School of Business and Economics (Université de Mons) via a FRESH grant obtained from the Fonds de la Recherche Scientifique (FNRS). Tristan worked on topics related to regulation, competition, collective action in microfinance contexts, and has fieldwork experiences from research carried out in Benin, Cambodia, and Tanzania. He has also studied for brief periods at the London School of Economic and Political Sciences and the University of Luxembourg. Following his PhD, Tristan has been accepted for pursuing his research for several months at the Ash Center for Democratic Governance and Innovation from the John F. Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University. Today, he is a researcher at the Centre for European Research in Microfinance (CERMi).
