Ángel Cardo Rodriguez is a dedicated Research Associate at Harvard Kennedy School’s Institutional Antiracism and Accountability (IARA) Project, where he leads the Health/STEM focus areas. He has made significant contributions to the field, particularly with his pioneering study on antiracist institutional change in healthcare. This project, conducted with support from the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, sheds light on effective paths for institutional change that close racial disparities in healthcare.
Furthermore, Ángel is at the forefront of the Digital-Energy study, a project of immense importance in the wake of the Covid-19 pandemic. This innovative research explores the intersection of computation and renewable energy, aiming to investigate how This integration drive sustainable economic recovery in rural communities. With his diverse background in public health, race and policy, and the history of science, Ángel Cardo Rodriguez is actively shaping transformative solutions in these critical areas.
