This session will explore the recent U.S. executive order on elections and its implications for electoral processes and how states are working to ensure secure, transparent, and accessible elections as we look ahead to the 2026 midterms.

Lunch will be served starting at 11:50am.

  • Tova Wang, Director of Research Projects in Democratic Practice at the Ash Center for Democratic Governance and Innovation
  • Archon Fung (Moderator), Director, Ash Center for Democratic Governance and Innovation; Winthrop Laflin McCormack Professor of Citizenship and Self-Government, Harvard Kennedy School
