Organizing and Mobilization during Democratic Backsliding

In this webinar, panelists will draw upon lessons from around the world about how civil society groups can protect and promote democracy and the rule of law during episodes of democratic backsliding.

About the Series

This spring, the Ash Center will host a series of webinars on “Understanding Disruption.” These conversations will focus on domains — such as higher education, media, and civil society — to gain insight into the character of these disruptions, what the disruptors are hoping to achieve, what opponents are concerned about, and what the consequences of these disruptions will be.
