Courtney Carter DeJesus

Courtney Carter DeJesus is the Assistant Director of Communications at the Ash Center for Democratic Governance and Innovation. Prior to joining the team at the Ash Center, Courtney worked as a Communications Manager for Fidelity Investments and Deputy Communications Director for the Rhode Island Treasury. Before that, Courtney worked as a television reporter for many years in various cities across the country. In addition, Courtney has authored one children’s book.

She received her bachelor’s degree from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University, her master’s degree from the CUNY Graduate School of Journalism, and certification in Management from Harvard Business School.
