Gaylen Moore is the lead case writer for the Bloomberg Harvard City Leadership Initiative. She writes, edits, and produces teaching cases and guides as well as other curricular materials for case sessions and tool kits.
Gaylen has collaborated with HKS faculty as an editor and case writer for over fifteen years, producing works on public value, collaborative governance, strategic leadership, networks of capacity, bureaucratic dysfunction, moral leadership, and civic engagement. In her home city of Worcester, she coordinates her local chapter of Mothers Out Front, an organization that leverages the urgency of mothers’ concern for their children’s futures to pursue climate action and solutions. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in fiction writing from Emerson College
