Program Involvement
I received my bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the Faculty of Architecture at Vienna University of Technology, and completed my Ph.D. in 2018 at the Faculty of Architecture, Yıldız Technical University in Istanbul, specializing in the field of smart cities. After working in architectural offices, I served as Deputy Director at the Planning Department of the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality. I then worked for six months at the Ministry of Environment and Urbanization, and for 1.5 years as a researcher at the Information and Communication Technologies Authority (ICTA), Türkiye’s leading technology center, focusing on the smart design of critical infrastructures. Since 2020, I have been working as an academic. My research interests include smart cities, the integration of architecture and technology, and participatory urban planning.
