Joe Horner
Research Assistant, Democracy and the Informed Public
Program Involvement
Joe is a first year Master of Public Policy candidate at the Harvard Kennedy School focused on the intersection of labor policy and economic development. Before coming to Cambridge, Joe hails from Chicago where he graduated from Northwestern University with a bachelor’s degree in economics and political science. At Northwestern he worked as a research assistant at the Institute for Policy Research working on data analysis for labor and education policy initiatives.
Prior to pursuing his masters, Joe worked as a management consultant in Chicago where he supported various Fortune 500 companies across the Midwest as well as public sector clients including Chicago Public Libraries. He brings a blend of private and public work experience to the Ash Center and is excited to continue pursuing labor and development policy after graduation.
